I know I've spewed this info many, many times before. But, not everyone gets how truly customizable our products are. You like the look of a marketing set but hate the colors? Change it up. You like everything except for that one pesky flourish or design? Remove it, change the color, rotate it, whatever you like. When I say fully customizable, I mean FULLY. You are only bound by your imagination!!

A New Collaboration...

This has been in the works for months and I am just so excited we have finally launched!!! Since October, I have been working with some fellow designers in creating this one-of-a-kind site for photographers where you can get a variety of products for whatever use you can think of!

That's right. My baby. The thing I've been slaving over for the past couple of weeks. Alright, alright....I know it's a bit - ummm - overdramatic. But, I tell you what - if you don't have any creativity, you just have none left!!! I sat trying to design this for-EVER and had one piece done. Then, all of the sudden - WHAM! - one afternoon came and went and the whole flippin' thing was designed!! YAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know, I've been slacking on the featured artist thingy, but I have been swamped in designs!!! :-) It's hard work doing those marketing sets....

When Dani first e-mailed me some of her images I was really impressed. Her work is quite refreshing, so I knew I wanted to feature her. Here is my short little q&a with her:

6. What's the first thing you think of in the morning?
Is it already 6:30??!!

7. Favorite piece of equipment?
My new Canon 5D!! I'm currently drooling over a 50mm f1.2 that I don't own yet.

8. What makes your workflow flow?
Workflow? You mean it's suposed to flow? I haven't quite got this down yet.

9. How many rings before you answer the phone?
2.5

10. Do you eat the stems of broccoli?
Yum, I love the whole broccoli.

11. Are you a glass half empty or half full kinda girl?
My cup runneth over!!

12. Action junkie?
I try not to over do it with actions but I'm currently addicted to the Boutwells Totally Rad Actions.

13. What photography blogs are you addicted to?
The Blog is Found, Jasmine Star Blog, and Bludomain are all daily doses of inspiration.

14. What one photography item would you purchase if money was no issue?
The Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III and the Canon 50mm f1.2 USM lens. I know you said one, but I want BOTH!! Can't I have it all??!!

15. And, finally, can you juggle?
No, though I've always wanted to learn.

Who's ready to win a prize?? If you've been to the new site, then you've seen the brand spankin' new Exclusive Marketing Sets - they have been very popular and I'm selling out in many areas already!! The lucky Miss Sandra Hales was the winner of the blu blog cross contest thingie! She was the lucky winner of not one...not two...not three...but all SIX Collage & Storyboard Action Collections! 1. Hobbyist or Pro?
Hobbyist - my "real" job is teaching kindergarten! I love teaching this age because they love school and they are still shorter than I am!

2. Have a website address ya wanna share?
I don't have a website yet. That's one of my plans for 2008. I do have a blog that I use to post recent work on here ...

3. Color or b/w?
I love both - color for the outside shots and b&w for the newborns and maternity work.

4. Main source of inspiration?
I love looking at recent work on photographer's blogs.

5. If you could fly any photographer out to do your family photos, who would it be? Why?
I would have to say Jessica Claire (even though families are not her focus). Her work is so real and captures so many amazing moments.

6. What's the first thing you think of in the morning?
Oh crap, I'm late

7. Favorite piece of equipment?
I enjoy being "artful" with my 50mm 1.4 lens - it is a gem for me!

8. What makes your workflow flow?
My D200, my 24" Mac, my CS3 and all my lovely little actions ... and sometimes a starbucks grande non-fat tazo chai latte (... it helps!!).

9. How many rings before you answer the phone?
2 ... generally!

10. Do you eat the stems of broccoli?
Sure, I'm easy.

11. Are you a glass half empty or half full kinda girl?
I'd say half full - i take things as they come and don't let a whole lot get to me. Things are always looking pretty good on my side of the fence.

Love them ... particularly fond of 'Totally Rad Actions'

blu's daily blog, Jessica Claire's blog, Lena Hyde's blog and lots of local ones.

Just one?! I'd love to get the 70-200 mm 2.8 - that would be a dream.

Balls, no .. my life, everyday!

I am overwhelmed and so excited at the huge response I've been getting on the site. All the comments and private e-mails have been so wonderful - so I thank you for sharing in this fun with me!!!
